Christian Faith, John Tar I do believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God, I am what they call a Bible believing Christian.
My first experience with religion was as a child: My mom was trying to take me to the "big church" in my town the than 20th district (Soroksar) of Budapest, Hungary in the early 1960s. Suddenly I got such strength, that I pulled her away to a safe distance from that place holding her hand. What can I say, I did get scared of God, and his place of mysterious residence.
Later I got interested looking at my grand mothers books filled with colorful pictures of "biblical characters" their halos above their head. I thought they were some sort of super humans, and that alone was enough for me to have a closer look at the matter. Back than as a child barely able to read, those religious books did not make sense to me at all,(actually they did not for a long time after) also was at the same time schooled in a socialist society, which did not make things any better.
In my late teens when a friend has given me a New Testament to read. It was perfect timing for my intellect, but my heart was not ready to open up to it by far. I loved Jesus Christ's personality, and was amazed by all he did, but did not really believed everything I read about Him. I know that our experiences are bringing us closer to understand the way God is working in our life, but we really have to pay close attention, without it we are missing everything. ...So my close encounter with Christ had to wait even more. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Proverbs 9:10 After several accidents, "close calls" some brief period of heavy alcohol abuse, and other losses, I've resented the way I lived than asked God to help me. ....and He did.
I came to pay close attention to Him, His Word the 1611 King James Bible and was shown to look at the right direction, and find out who really Jesus Christ is. I throughout my life was looking for the truth, and when I came across the verse in the Bible saying: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 That was when I really started to understand and believe the Word of the Lord, and at 33 I repented in a heart felt prayer asking our Heavenly Father to forgive my sin receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior who did save me from eternal damnation, and (hell fire).
Now I know that Jesus Christ is the Lord. If you not sure about who God is, and want to learn about him, and the salvation of your soul, let me suggest you to get a 1611 King James bible, and start reading the New Testament. The new covenant through the blood of God's only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Open your ears and heart to the word as you reading it so your faith might get stronger and He'd enter in. Once you ready, you'll know, than ask the Lord Jesus to save you, and wash in his blood repenting, so you may have eternal life in Heaven according to His promise.
Prayer of Salvation, pray this prayer as you are coming to God:
- "Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Help Me God
Blessed be our Lord, Creator of Heaven and Earth,
King of the Universe, our God, and our Savior, the
Lord Jesus Christ, who came to us bringing light
into this darkness as it was foretold
about him, to save us from sin and hell fire.
Who sits on the right hand side of our Heavenly Father,
to whom be praises, and glory forever.
I know that Jesus Christ is the Lord.
If you not sure about who God is, and want to learn about him,
and the salvation of your soul, let me suggest you to get a 1611
King James bible, and start reading the New Testament. The new
covenant through the blood of God's only begotten Son the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Open your heart to the word as you reading it so your faith might
get stronger. Once you ready, you'll know, than ask the Lord Jesus
